Eastern Ontario Power Inc. (EOP) is proud to renew its partnership with Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) through marketing its Save on Energy programs available to both residential and business customers.

Since 2011, the IESO’s Save on Energy programs have provided opportunities and resources to over 500,000 homes and businesses in all sectors across Ontario to help them better manage their electricity use and increase their energy efficiency.

These programs will continue to support the long-term energy needs of EOP customers by assisting with energy efficiency upgrades and providing valuable rebates to eligible customers. For example, residential customers can access programs to support energy-efficient upgrades like insulation, heat pumps, air sealing, and qualified appliances. Programs are also offered to help manage household and small-business electricity use during peak periods. Businesses and other large energy users can access programs focused on improving equipment to reduce energy consumption, as well as programs to improve energy efficiency in large scale capital projects.

Glen King, President & CEO of FortisOntario Inc., comments, “We look forward to continuing our work with the IESO programs that can support local residential and business customers. Part of EOP’s role is assisting customers in accessing these important programs.”
“Ontario’s plan to power growth starts with helping families and businesses save energy and most of all, save more on their bills,” said Stephen Lecce, Minister of Energy and Mines. “Ontario launched the largest energy savings program in Canadian history designed to reduce costs for families and businesses, most especially during this period of global uncertainty. Through Ontario's Save on Energy programs and partners like Eastern Ontario Power Inc., we’re helping customers lower their electricity bills, improve energy efficiency of their homes and businesses.”
