When you receive an activation notice, you decide whether to contribute to reducing your load or not. When you do participate, you earn monthly payments for your contribution. To earn monthly payments, all you have to do is reduce your energy consumption when you receive activation notices. Participation in VOLUNTARY DR1 is strictly voluntary. It’s entirely up to you when and if you take part – there’s no commitment during times when it doesn’t suit your business needs.

Make a Firm Commitment to reducing peak demand power – Earn major revenue.
CONTRACTUAL DR3 offers higher incentive rates in return for your mandatory commitment to take part in activation notices. To earn monthly payments, all you have to do is reduce your energy consumption by an agreed to amount, when you receive activation notices. In exchange for your contractual commitment to reducing your demand, you will receive attractive payments. Performance in this program is mandatory, and therefore financial offsets may occur for non-performance.
