2016 Bill Changes

Changes to your bill are coming your way

Ontario Clean Energy Benefit

The Province is ending the Ontario Clean Energy Benefit that provides a 10% benefit on residential and small business electric accounts for the first 3,000 kWh/month. This benefit was introduced 5 years ago to help customers through the transition to a cleaner, modern, electricity system. The Ontario Clean Energy Benefit is scheduled to end as planned on December 31, 2015. Starting on January 1, 2016 the 10% reduction will be removed from your hydro bill.
